Day 16: First day of daycare

I was not happy since I usually get fed breakfast as soon as I wake up. Mom said I'm going to have breakfast with my classmates today.

Later Mom and Dad are going to bring me to visit my siblings. I have 3 older brothers -- Jake, Cody and Trent. Jake and Cody are staying with "Grandma" Betty and Trent lives with our Aunt Lisa. We are meeting at the Amherst McDonald's. It's been awhile since they've seen me. I wonder if I look different now?

Day 11: Pediatrician and vaccinations

Mom and Dad took me to my first (ever) pediatrician visit today.

After they took me to the Dept. of Health for my vaccinations. Since they are not sure I ever got shots, I had to start from the beginning. Poor me!

But I'm fine in no time!

1st MILESTONES: An unofficial word... mum-mum

Mom and Dad are letting me feed myself more than being spoon feed now. I also said mum-mum a couple of times while eating. All of Mom's repetitive talk worked! She's so happy!

Our family based support worker Edna came by for a visit today. She made sure everything was OK with Mom and Dad in the process. She talked about getting help from WIC that would supplement healthy foods for me. She's also going to find out if I can go on vacation out of state with my foster parents. I'm such a lucky boy!
